Almond Blossoms

The Yutsuya Family was an absolute delight to photograph last weekend.  We met at their family home and then drove out to their own almond orchard for our family session.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.  It was nice and cool and just a bit overcast.  Beautiful!

Congratulations Ryan and Rebecca!

My cousin Ryan and his beautiful sweetheart Rebecca got hitched last month in the Seattly Washington LDS Temple. It was such a beautiful day surrounded by so many wonderful people! I was able to fly to Seattle with my parents and grandfather and brave the icy, cold and wet Washington weather. From that short trip I decided that I was built for California weather!

Karen and I have been best friends since the 6th grade.  Imagine my suprise when I pulled into the Knights Ferry parking lot and Karen and her family show up 2 minutes later!  After photographing another family I found Karen and "made" them sit still for a family portrait.  I love happy surprises!
